Brothers and Sisters,
Labor Day is right around the corner — and this year, we want to make a big statement. We’re calling on all active and retired members to come out and join us for the Labor Day Parade on Saturday, September 6th, marching proudly up 5th Avenue in New York City.
This is a day to celebrate the strength, unity, and achievements of working people — past and present. It’s also a time to show the public — and each other — that our union stands strong and united. Your presence matters. When we march together, we remind everyone that we are the backbone of this city.
Line-up details will be provided soon.
We’ll share exact times and locations as the date approaches.
We’ll have signs, music, union t-shirts, and giveaways — and most importantly, we’ll have you. Bring your family, bring your coworkers, and let’s make this a day to remember.
For any members or retirees who are unable to walk the route, a viewing section will be set up along the parade path so you can still be part of this great day. Details to come.
If you’ve never marched before, this is the year to do it. If you’ve done it before, then you know how powerful it feels. Let’s make this our biggest turnout yet.
We look forward to marching with you!
In Solidarity,
Your Union Officers
